Ports of Call Shore Excursions

Shore excursion examples for each port of call can be downloaded below (click on titles).  These examples are provided from various companies and are not exclusively endorsed by Hicks and Slicks.  You are free to research excursions and sightseeing opportunities from all available sources including those offered by Royal Caribbean.

-  Nassau, Bahamas

The capital of the 700 Bahamian Islands has a storied past that includes occupation by several notorious pirates, including Blackbeard.  Aside from being one of the greatest places for coral reef snorkeling, Nassau is prized for its Victorian mansions, cathedrals and 18th century fortresses.

-  Cozumel, Mexico

Cozumel is considered one of the most important tourist destinations in Mexico.  Cozumel is world renowned for scuba diving because it is home to the second largest barrier reef in the world.  But it’s not only divers who adore this Caribbean treasure; Cozumel’s cruise port is the most popular destination in the Western Caribbean.  Cozumel is known for its clear turquoise waters and powdery sand beaches.  The island is approximately 28 miles long by 10 miles wide off the east coast of the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico’s mainland, near neighboring Riviera Maya.  It is impossible to visit Cozumel and not notice or experience its stunning natural beauty, crystal-clear aquamarine seas, and vast marine life combined with top-notch visitor services.

-  Roatan, Honduras

-  Costa Maya (Mahahual)

Mahahual and the Costa Maya is the new favorite vacation destination on Mexico's Caribbean Coast.  Mahahual is the Hidden Jewel of the Yucatan Peninsula.  This small fishing village, located on the beautiful turquoise Caribbean Sea, is just south of Playa del Carmen and Tulum and boasts white powdery beaches and temperatures ranging from 78-85F every day of the year.  In Mahahual there are over 20 restaurants, bars, and the same amount of small shops at half the price of the port shops at Costa Maya.  The food is wonderful and very inexpensive.  There are many beautiful attractions to experience close by, including the historic ruins of Tulum and Coba, or enjoy your day on the beach.
